Book record disclosure via unchecked object identifier
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Improper authorization in TaleLin Lin CMS Spring Boot 0.2.0 through 0.2.1 allows remote attackers to read books by changing an ID. The getBook method passes the positive path ID directly to bookService.getById and returns the resulting BookDO without a resource-level permission check. Access to GET /v1/book/{id} is required, and successful exploitation discloses a book record; the authentication requirement is unspecified.
