Reflected XSS via unencoded invalid alias
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Reflected XSS in Cargo 3.9.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted CargoExport request. CargoExport places an invalid alias from the request into an error response without context-appropriate output encoding. No account is required, but a user must open the crafted request; script execution is limited to the affected wiki's browser origin.
