Reflected XSS via unescaped archive titles
Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026
Reflected cross-site scripting in Morteza Geransayeh Parsi Date 6.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject script via archive query strings. The FixTitle::fixWpTitle callback copies raw WordPress query variables into archive page titles without escaping the filtered title before output. Exploitation requires Persian-date archive titles to be enabled and a visitor to open a crafted archive URL; the script then runs in that visitor's browser.
