Script execution via unsanitized username persistence
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Base Admin at commit 52816b760cd53244989fd664bbb2b3d4edbfdbf1 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted username. CommonController.save binds the submitted username into the user entity and forwards it to persistence without controller-level validation or output encoding. Access to the authenticated Add User handler is required, and the script executes in a browser when the stored username is rendered.
