CVE-2026-96759Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

JavaScript execution via unescaped operationId metadata

Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026

Code injection in Orval before 8.29.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript through a crafted OpenAPI operationId. Query and mutation generators place the raw value inside a single-quoted mutator-options property, so a quote closes the string and inserts expressions. Exploitation requires a queryOptions or mutationOptions mutator that accepts a third argument, and the payload runs when a generated hook is called.
