Object injection via monitoring event class inference
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
Object injection in affected MongoDB PHP Driver releases allows remote attackers to invoke application unserialization code. Command monitoring event construction honors an unsuppressible __pclass value embedded in document content, instantiates a matching Persistable application class, and invokes its unserialization method. Exploitation requires a registered command monitoring subscriber, attacker-controlled operation data, and a suitable application class; resulting behavior depends on that class.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <1.21.10
- Affected versionversion=2.0.0 <2.1.10
