Remote stack overflow via unchecked alias copy
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in FAST FAC1900R 20190827_2.0.2 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted HTTP POST request. The get_alias_name function in uhttpd uses memcpy to copy the user-controlled cloud_config.info.alias JSON string into a stack buffer without checking its upper bound. The request reaches the router remotely and overwrites uhttpd stack memory; no specific code-execution or crash outcome has been published.
