Credential theft via registry URL repointing
Published Oct 16, 2026 · Updated Oct 16, 2026
Credential disclosure in Arcane before 2.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to steal registry tokens via URL changes. UpdateRegistry preserves the stored encrypted token when changing the registry URL without a replacement token, and TestRegistry decrypts and sends it through RegistryLogin without restricting the destination host. Exploitation requires registries:update and registries:test permissions plus a stored generic-registry credential; stolen credentials enable image access or tampering according to their permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
