Stored script execution via calendar list truncation
Published Oct 1, 2026 · Updated Oct 1, 2026
Stored DOM-based XSS in CodePeople Appointment Hour Booking – Booking Calendar 1.5.97 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts via booking fields. The schedule calendar list renderer decodes and truncates stored single-line booking-field content without adequately escaping it before browser insertion. Exploitation requires a published list view with list_readmore_numberofwords set to a positive integer; its default value of 0 bypasses this sink, and a visitor must open the affected page.
