Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped review text
Published Oct 16, 2026 · Updated Oct 16, 2026
Stored XSS in Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP 1.67 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through review text. The saswp_field_generator method inserts stored saswp_review_text into an administrative textarea without escaping, allowing attacker-controlled markup to execute when rendered. Anonymous visitors can obtain the sole authorization nonce from public saswp-reviews-form shortcode HTML; execution requires someone to view the injected content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
