Stored XSS via Advisor log-prompt injection
Published Oct 1, 2026 · Updated Oct 1, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Meow Apps AI Engine 3.8.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in administrators' dashboards. The chat endpoint accepts a renamed model parameter, writes its value into an error log, and feeds that log to the Advisor; the dashboard widget renders the resulting title and description without escaping. Exploitation requires the Advisor to process the forged log content and an administrator to view the dashboard widget.
