Credential disclosure via SMTP without required TLS
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Cleartext SMTP in sfturing hosp_order allows adjacent attackers to read mail credentials and password-reset messages. MailUtil.getProperties enables SMTP authentication but omits TLS, STARTTLS, and secure-port settings before sendMail obtains the smtp transport and sends each message. Exposure requires an SMTP server that accepts unencrypted authentication and an attacker positioned on the network path; captured mail credentials also permit mail-service impersonation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
