Native command execution via wildcard HTTPS IPC
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Improper access control in tw93 Pake 3.17.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to invoke native commands from any loaded HTTPS page. The default capability grants IPC to https://., while withGlobalTauri exposes invoke() and leaves application commands outside plugin ACL checks. Any script in a loaded HTTPS origin can reach registered commands; arbitrary file write and persistent execution require the separate download_file path-traversal flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
