Stored XSS via unchecked GDPR consent writes
Published Oct 1, 2026 · Updated Oct 1, 2026
Stored XSS in Awesome Support 6.4.0 and earlier lets remote authenticated users inject scripts into GDPR consent pages via gdpr-data. The GDPR AJAX handlers accept an arbitrary gdpr-user ID without verifying ownership, and consent data is displayed without adequate escaping. Subscriber-level access suffices because the required nonce is exposed to logged-in users; the script executes when another user opens the affected page.
