Unauthenticated credential disclosure via public debug log
Published Oct 1, 2026 · Updated Oct 1, 2026
Information disclosure in Payments for Hubtel before 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to read payment gateway API credentials from a public debug log. The payment-request logger writes gateway credentials in plaintext to a file inside the plugin folder without preventing web access to that file. Exposure requires a configured gateway, payment requests recorded in the log, and a web server that serves the file; the result is disclosure of the store's gateway credentials.
