Stored XSS via unencoded tag input
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Stored XSS in QianFox FoxCMS 1.2.0 through 1.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. The Administrator Backend's /Tag/edit handler stores tag input without server-side validation, and tag pages render it without HTML encoding. Administrator privileges are required to submit the payload, and another user must open the affected tag page; execution is confined to that user's browser context.
