Settings modification via missing admin_init nonce validation
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Tectite Forms 1.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings through an administrator's browser. The admin_init handler accepts request data and updates options such as tectite_forms_button without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, and the documented consequence is limited to plugin-setting changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
