Unauthorized asset modification via incomplete permission validation
Published Jun 2, 2026 · Updated Jun 2, 2026
Improper access control in Devolutions Server 2026.1.19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify asset information via network requests. The permission validation component accepts entry-edit authorization as sufficient without enforcing the separate permission required for asset changes. Entry edit privileges are required, and the documented impact is limited to unauthorized changes to asset information.
