Authenticated script execution via unsanitized template content
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Stored XSS in Sangoma Switchvox SMB 8.3 (104997) allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through voicemail templates. The submit_modify_voicemail_template endpoint stores unsanitized HTML from the template_text parameter and later renders it to other users. Exploitation requires authenticated template-editing access and passive interaction by a user who views the saved template, enabling browser-context data access or actions.
