Administrator authentication bypass via login SQL injection
Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026
SQL injection in Code Projects Project Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass login and obtain administrator access. The Login component's chk.php passes an unsanitized account ID into password-checking logic, so a tautological SQL expression authenticates with any password. No authentication or user interaction is required; selecting the administrator role and submitting the crafted ID grants the highest management privileges.
