Session hijacking via unrotated pre-login session identifier
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Session fixation in Mstfakts College Management System allows remote attackers to replay a victim's authenticated session via a fixed PHPSESSID. Front-end/server.php starts a PHP session before login, then writes the authenticated identity into that session without regenerating its identifier. Exploitation requires inducing a victim to use an attacker-known identifier and then log in; replay exposes protected profile data and actions available to that victim.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
