Reflected XSS via unsanitized sorting parameters
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Reflected XSS in MacWarrior ClipBucket V5 before 5.5.3-#182 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript via crafted query parameters. The sort_link() helper inserts the cat, sort, and time values into generated links without sanitizing them before the response is rendered. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted URL; the injected script then runs under the application's origin and can act with that browser session's access.
