Authenticated access-control bypass via noncanonical paths
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
LemonLDAP::NG Handler before 2.16.10, 2.17.0 before 2.21.6, and 2.22.0 before 2.23.4 allows remote authenticated users to bypass URL access rules. The Handler tests locationRules against raw REQUEST_URI text while the web server routes a percent-decoded, dot-normalized path, so equivalent path spellings evade matching expressions. Exploitation requires a virtual host whose default rule grants more access than a matched rule, and access remains bounded by that default rule.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
