Login-state disclosure via omitted disabled field
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Information disclosure in MISP before 2.5.47 allows remote attackers to distinguish disabled TOTP accounts through the login response. UsersController.login() omitted User.disabled from its pre-authentication TOTP query, so the missing array key evaluated as false and bypassed the early disabled-user guard. Exploitation requires valid credentials for a disabled, TOTP-enrolled account; the later identity check still rejects access, limiting exposure to a TOTP prompt and a PHP log warning.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Activity data is delayed. The latest report is Sep 28, 2026.
