Reflected XSS via unsanitized project-id parameter
Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026
Reflected XSS in Taskbuilder before 5.0.8 allows remote attackers to execute script in a logged-in user's browser through a crafted URL. A shortcode-rendered frontend page inserts the unsanitized project-id URL parameter into an inline wppm_open_project JavaScript call. Exploitation requires the target to be authenticated and to visit the crafted URL on a page containing the wppm_projects shortcode, allowing script execution in that user's WordPress context.
