Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped targetUrl
Published Oct 16, 2026 · Updated Oct 16, 2026
Stored XSS in OptiUser Opti-Behavior 1.9.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted tracker URLs. The ingest endpoint stores attacker-controlled targetUrl values without sufficient sanitization, and analytics displays render the stored values without adequate escaping. Its nonce is exposed to anonymous visitors through optiBehaviorHeatmapConfig.nonce, so payload submission requires no account; execution occurs when a user views affected analytics content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
