Root code execution via webproc stack overflow
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DAP-1360 firmware 6.14 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code as root. The /cgi-bin/webproc endpoint copies the errorpage and nextpage parameters into a fixed-length stack buffer without validating their lengths. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation grants root control of the appliance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
