Script execution via nonce-ignored scheme sources
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
CSP bypass in Tauri 2.0.0 and later allows attackers to execute arbitrary scripts through data: or blob: URLs without the injected nonce. The CSP hardening step appends a random nonce but leaves these scheme sources active in script-src, so matching scripts remain independently allowed. Exploitation requires an application policy permitting either scheme and an attacker-controlled injection path; impact is script execution in the webview, with native impact limited to exposed Tauri commands.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
