Disallowed network access via unchecked redirect targets
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
SSRF in Tauri Apps Tauri HTTP Plugin 2.0.0 through 2.6.1 and 2.7.0 and later allows attackers to reach disallowed hosts via redirects. The plugin checks only the initial URL against the configured scope allowlist, then lets reqwest follow each HTTP 3xx target without applying the scope again. Exploitation requires control of an allowed URL or an open redirect on an allowed host and permits requests to cloud metadata, localhost services, or internal network hosts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
