Account access via spoofed Kerberos KDC
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Authentication bypass in Red Hat Keycloak products allows remote attackers to access user accounts through a spoofed Kerberos KDC. The Kerberos federation provider accepts password authentication without requesting a server ticket, so it never verifies the KDC's identity. Exploitation requires Kerberos password authentication without SPNEGO and an attacker positioned on the same network; unauthorized account access is the bounded impact.
