Remote code execution via template engine eval
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Code injection in mtrano APENCMS allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through the template engine's site value. The eval function in cms/weasel.php passes the attacker-controlled $_CMS['site'] argument to PHP evaluation without neutralizing embedded code. The public record establishes remote reachability but does not disclose whether authentication is required; successful exploitation runs code in the APENCMS PHP process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Published CVSS scores
No CVSS assessment is available in this record.
CVSS describes severity. EPSS estimates exploitation probability.
Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Activity data is delayed. The latest report is Sep 28, 2026.
