Script execution via unencoded search parameters
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Reflected XSS in sfturing hosp_order allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser via crafted public search URLs. HospitalController.java and other search controllers copy bound HTTP parameters into model fields that JSP templates insert into HTML attributes and elements without context-aware encoding. Exploitation requires a user to open an attacker-crafted link; script then runs in the application origin and can read page content or issue same-origin requests.
