Crash via stale Touchlink commissioning map entries
Published Sep 29, 2026 · Updated Sep 29, 2026
Use-after-free in Wireshark 4.6.0 through 4.6.8 allows attackers to crash the analyzer via malformed ZigBee ZCL traffic or trace files. The Touchlink dissector retains commissioning-map references after their file-scope entries are freed, then accesses those stale references during redissection. Exposure requires analysis of attacker-influenced traffic or opening an attacker-influenced trace file; the documented consequence is an analyzer crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
