Authenticated command execution via unsanitized FileName
Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK CA750-PoE 6.2c.510 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands via FileName. The setUpgradeUboot handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi passes the attacker-controlled FileName value to an operating-system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. A valid SESSION_ID cookie is required; the published request starts a shell listener on port 8893, giving authenticated network attackers device-level command execution.
