Sandbox escape via GPU pixel-read callback use-after-free
Published Sep 29, 2026 · Updated Sep 29, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome's GPU component before 154.0.8037.57 allows remote attackers to execute code outside the sandbox via crafted HTML. Graphite's asynchronous pixel-read callback can run after context loss, accessing a caller's stack after that caller has returned. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted page and reach the affected graphics path; the resulting code execution escapes the browser sandbox.
