Remote path traversal via crafted static filename
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Path traversal in changedetection.io 0.60.0 through 0.60.7 allows remote attackers to escape the visual selector data path. The static_content function in changedetectionio/flask_app.py inadequately confines the filename used for visual_selector_data lookup. The route is remotely reachable, but public records do not identify which files can be reached or whether authentication is required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
