Private activity access via unsanitized intent URLs
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
Intent redirection in Justson AgentWeb 5.1.6-androidx and earlier allows local users to launch private activities via crafted URLs. DefaultWebClient parses attacker-controlled intent URLs and starts the resulting intents as the host application without removing explicit host components or validating their exported status. Exploitation requires a crafted URL to reach the embedded WebView handler; sensitive information exposure depends on the targeted host activity and its handling of supplied extras.
