Authenticated command execution via unvalidated plugin_version
Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK CA750-PoE 6.2c.510 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its web interface. The setUnloadUserData handler in upgrade.so passes the attacker-controlled plugin_version value into an operating-system command without neutralizing shell syntax. A valid session is required; a crafted POST to /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi can start a device-side Telnet service and expose a shell.
