CVE-2026-9473Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file read via unrestricted path resolution

Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026

Path traversal in c-rick jimeng-mcp 1.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through filePath. The getFileContent method resolves a caller-supplied local path and passes it to fs.promises.readFile without enforcing an allowed root. Access to an MCP client able to invoke image or video generation is sufficient, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the server process.
