Authentication bypass via User field SQL injection
Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026
SQL injection in Student Management System at commit cb2f558ddf8d19396de0f92abf2d224d46a0a203 allows remote attackers to bypass administrator authentication. The success.php login handler places the raw POST User value inside a quoted SELECT against the admin table, allowing an injected SQL comment to remove the password predicate. No credentials or user interaction are required; a successful request starts an administrator session and exposes privileged application functions.
