Remote command execution via unsanitized enabled parameter
Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A8000RU firmware 7.1cu.643_b20200521 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The setWanCfg path passes the enabled value through Uci_Set_Str and snprintf into CsteSystem, which invokes execv without neutralizing command syntax. The published request includes a session cookie, although the CNA rates privileges as unnecessary; successful exploitation can alter router data or interrupt service.
