Root-equivalent chassis access via crafted AAA claims
Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
Authorization bypass in Brocade Fabric OS before 10.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to gain root-equivalent chassis access. During session establishment, the AAA integration framework accepts crafted identity-provider attributes or directory claims without enforcing administrative role restrictions. Exploitation requires an account whose external identity-provider response supplies those claims.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
