Unpublished-content disclosure via cross-mode pending cache fills
Published Oct 2, 2026 · Updated Oct 2, 2026
Information disclosure in Next.js 16.3.0 through 16.3.7 allows remote attackers to read unpublished Draft Mode content through overlapping requests. Pending use cache fills share a key across Draft Mode and regular requests without separating their content; a regular request can receive an editor's draft fill and persist it in a prerendered page. Exposure requires Cache Components or experimental.useCache, Draft Mode previews, and cached functions that return draft-dependent content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
