Cross-route cache poisoning via route-agnostic cache keys
Published Oct 2, 2026 · Updated Oct 2, 2026
Cache poisoning in Vercel Next.js 15.0.0 through 15.5.26 and 16.0.0 through 16.3.7 lets remote attackers serve wrong SSG or ISR pages. The Pages Router response cache can key a generated page without binding the entry to its source route, allowing a request to replace that entry with content from a different route. Exposure requires a self-hosted Pages Router application with SSG or ISR pages; affected visitors receive incorrect content until revalidation, while Vercel-hosted deployments are unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
