Authenticated privilege escalation via unchecked relation writes
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Missing authorization in jshERP 3.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges through userBusiness CRUD endpoints. UserBusinessController forwards attacker-supplied add, update, delete, and batch-delete requests to relation-writing service methods without a privilege check. Any authenticated tenant user can alter user-role or role-function relations, gaining privileges or removing another account's access.
