Cross-user content substitution via shared cache-key collision
Published Oct 2, 2026 · Updated Oct 2, 2026
Cache poisoning in Vercel Next.js 15.0.0 through 15.5.26 and 16.0.0 through 16.3.7 lets remote attackers disrupt SSG/ISR pages. With a root-level catch-all page, a crafted request populates a shared response-cache key that fails to distinguish the source route, serving substituted content to later visitors. Exposure requires the catch-all page and statically generated or ISR routes; the poisoned entry can interrupt service until it is revalidated or replaced.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
