Administrator browser script execution via incomplete filtering
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Stored XSS in Xuxueli XXL-JOB 3.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. The /jobgroup/insert handler accepts the Name field after XssUtil applies an incomplete denylist that misses event-handler attributes, then stores the value for HTML rendering. A normal account must submit the payload, and execution occurs when an administrator later opens the affected management view.
