Unauthorized attribute modification via CSRF-exempt editField
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in MISP before 2.5.47 allows remote attackers to modify threat-intelligence attributes through a user's session. AttributesController::editField was placed in unlockedActions, causing the Security component to skip CSRF validation on cross-site form posts carrying the victim's session cookie. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to visit an attacker-controlled page and permits changes to attribute values, types, categories, comments, distribution settings, and timestamps.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
