Authenticated file read and SSRF via XML import
Published Sep 21, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026
File-handling flaws in MISP before 2.5.47 allow remote authenticated users with modify permission to read local files or trigger SSRF. The addMISPExportFile method passes uploaded content to Xml::build with file reading enabled, so a path or URL is treated as a locator rather than XML data. A valid account with modify permission can expose server files or send requests to internal services without further user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
