CVE-2026-9440Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via submit-url injection

Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026

Command injection in Edimax BR-6478AC 1.23 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its web management interface. The formAccept POST handler at /goform/formAccept processes the submit-url request-body value without neutralizing command syntax before downstream use. Low-privileged access to the remotely reachable management service is required, and successful exploitation runs commands in the device context.
